A
current Certificat d’Urbanisme authorises the conversion of this barn
and attached buildings into a habitation. The main two-storey building,
built in good quality stone, is solid, with thick walls and good roof
timbers. It commands a view because of its high position on the edge of the
village. The ground-floor space alone measures 140m2.
It
is situated on 1.5 ha of land, serviced with water and electricity. Mains
drainage is planned in 2 to 3 years time. But in the meantime it would be
possible to install a septic tank.
Details of the buildings:
Barn
The ground floor is concreted and has probably been used to house cattle.
Approximately two-thirds of the first floor flooring is in good condition.
Good oak beams. On one side of the building, a huge canopy, 13m x 4m,
formed by an extension of the roof supported by large posts, would make an
ideal outdoor entertaining area.
Chicken Shed
Adjoining the barn and the chai.
Chai (Wine Store)
Adjoins the chicken shed. This stone building, consisting of a ground floor
and basement area, is in a dilapidated state
